Functional training improves the way you function, period.
Working out on your own can be a challenge. The struggle to stay motivated and the frustration encountered when you can't get to the gym, or aren't meeting your goals can be disheartening. COREfit's Personal Training sessions are conducted in your home, at a time that is convenient to you. We offer one on one, partner, and small group training (3-5). We will provide you with the knowledge, motivation, confidence and accountability to get you on the right track and keep you there.
THIS IS FUN(ctional) STUFF!
At COREfit, we focus on improving overall movement rather than specific muscle groups. By using multiple muscle groups in an integrated way the body is challenged to work collectively, rather than isolating individual muscles as in traditional weight training. Full body exercises compared to single-joint exercises, reduce local muscle fatigue and stress on individual joints, increases coordination, and improves muscle imbalances and postural weaknesses. We utilize minimal equipment such as swiss and medicine balls, dumbbells or kettlebells, and resistance bands. Our goal is to empower you with an effective yet simple program you can (and will want to) continue doing on your own and can take with you wherever you go.
This type of workout boosts your fat burning potential (more muscle recruitment=more energy utilized), alleviates boredom, and means a shorter but more effective workout.

All Personal Training Packages include an Initial Consultation consisting of a fitness assessment which includes a detailed questionnaire and measurement of resting heart rate, height, weight, body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength/endurance of the upper body and abdominals, and flexibility of the lower back and hamstrings. The purpose of a fitness assessment is to establish your baseline fitness level as well as preferences and goals It is a vital step in tailoring an exercise program to meet your individual needs, as well as to track your progress.
*You must either acquire medical clearance from your doctor, or sign a medical waiver prior to beginning personal training.
